Moon sighting match, chand needs sifarish(recomendation)

Moon sighting matchIt literally is , Eid the most waited festival of Muslims, there are only 2 so no much choice to begin with, you got to wait. Well here we are in the 21st century where we can go to moon and ask it weather you wanna be seen tomorrow or u want us to wait till day after. Still in this jet age the whole of India cant have eid on the same day. Cant call up family and wish one day one shot and get done with wishing. So if you are a global family like mine with friends and brother in USA, aunt in UK , uncle in Saudi Arabia , rest of the family in India, essentially you start calling and wishing 4 days ahead of your eid to people in USA they say our eid is may be tomorrow , so u call again and wish tomorrow then u call people in UK, luckily SAUDI and UK have it the same day so u can call Saudi also the same day, ie 3 days before your eid , confirm it is their eid and wish them, then comes India’s time 2 days before our eid there is a big commotion , ok around 1 am u get random calls stating eid is tomorrow, half asleep , since u think that person calling at 1 am is damn sure you believe and start to mentally think that eid is tomorrow and not set your alarm. Then come international calls wish us eid for which we are ourselves r not sure. These BBC and CNN bread gangs call listening to the broad cast that eid is being celebrated in India, but the fine print is it is only in parts of India, so at 2 am u are explaining may or may not be tomorrow. Then in 2 minds you wake up the next day either to fast or not to fast. And so the final day before eid you fast empty stomach and that is not a pleasant one. Then the All India moon sighting committee comes up with these apologies or some such saying ok may be we should all get together and celebrate on one day. Oh then I forgot to mention you wish the rest of the lot in India who raced you to celebrate the eid one day before you. The mother of all confusion in this confusion is that the one who celebrated their eid "have the right of way" in wishing you eid mobaarak (Happy Eid ) and you wish them back , and then explain that “oh but our eid is tomorrow , day after or some such”. To top it when you wish some one eid before your eid has kicked in you are fasting, so u invariably ask , what did you prepare, or if they are foodies like me they shall list out the gory details of all the dishes they made , which translates into your mouth watering , when you are supposed to be avoiding food thoughts. Added to all this is the medias spin on the events . It states that the businesses wanted the moon sighting to be delayed, so that there be an added day of shopping, what they do not realize is no matter how delayed the sighting be, hyderabadis start their shopping at 11:30 pm night before Eid. You should see the streets how packed they are before eid day. So I think the hyderabadis have come up with their own system to break this uncertainty , shop when u know for sure that this is 100 percent confirmed that eid is tomorrow, rest can wait.
Njoy cause it is eid finally

This is all because the mullahs do not want to give their power away. No matter how much science can help, what becomes of their livelihood if science takes over
